This month we celebrate the 30th anniversary of National Recovery Month. Each year in September it is a recognition of all of the people in recovery, those who work in the treatment and recovery fields and recovery support people and family members across the country. Why? Because despite what some people think, recovery really does happen.
There is a growing trend toward long-term engagement and support from peer specialists, case managers, sponsors, coaches and more, as we have seen that much of the work in recovery comes after treatment.
This site is a dedication to people who work as recovery coaches and support personnel in their efforts to provide ongoing guidance for those who seek it, and its launching during National Recovery Month is a happy coincidence. The 2019 theme is Join the Voices for Recovery: Together We Are Stronger.
Listings are free to add, once verified, and the first ten (10) recovery coaches who submit their information and a well-written, informative article, will be upgraded to a featured listing free for the first year!
